Haruperi Mumbengegwi is a Legal Counsel in the Power Sector at the African Legal Support Facility. She has been with the ALSF since September 2018.
Prior to joining the ALSF, Ms. Mumbengegwi worked at a leading law firm in Beijing, China before returning to Zimbabwe. She practiced as a corporate lawyer advising clients on a number of power and infrastructure related projects at one of Zimbabwe’s leading commercial law firms.
Haruperi Mumbengegwi is admitted into practice in Zimbabwe and a Member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A) in Political Science and International Relations and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from Rhodes University (South Africa) as well as a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) in International Law from China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing, China).
