Eva Kabundu is a Senior Legal Counsel at the African Legal Support Facility. She has been with the ALSF, Institutional Team since September 2018.
Prior to joining the ALSF, Ms. Kabundu worked as a consultant with the Corporate Secretariat at the World Bank Group working with the Board on strategic issues, governance and operations. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Eva worked as a State Attorney with the Directorate of Civil Litigation, Attorney General’s Chambers, Uganda providing legal advisory and litigation services on behalf of the Government of Uganda and its allied ministries and institutions on all civil, commercial and quasi-criminal legal matters; and as a Foreign Legal Specialist with Public International Law and Policy Group in Washington, DC,USA, providing legal advice on peace negotiations, post- conflict legislation and governance to states and marginalized actors, including women and youth .
Eva Kabundu is admitted into practice in Uganda and a Member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society. She holds a Master degree (LL.M) in International Legal Studies from the American University, Washington School of Law (Washington, DC, USA); a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University, School of Law (Kampala, Uganda) and the Academy for Arbitration (Paris, France).
