The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is a multilateral development finance institution founded in 1964 to promote economic development and social progress of Africa. The AfDB is made up of three entities namely: the African Development Bank (AfDB), the African Development Fund (ADF) and the Nigeria Trust Fund (NTF). The AfDB mobilises and allocate resources to African countries, individually and collectively, for investment in public and private capital projects and programmes.
